you save money when using Cheap Van Hire? |
| Answer
2: Most people organize themselves so that they are able
to put their stuff in the van when it arrives. By having your stuff ready
near the front door, will enable you to save time. If you are able to off load
quickly into a door way you will end up with much pocket saver! |

the free loading times
given for You Load We drive at each point? |

3: No! loading
and unloading times are quoted as total time and can be used however you
want. Remember Students do it ! So you can do it
too! Just be organised its as simple as 1 + 1 = 2 |

fuel for Cheap van hire and is that all you have to pay? |
A4. Yes, & there is no deposit
to pay! Just cash on the day! |

Can
your friend and you
travel in the van? |
A5: Remember if your on
the Hampstead campus or halls in Cardiff or at
the office, no matter where you are you can travel
too. Yes, up to 2
passengers can travel entirely at their own risk & no
charge! It has been
known for very short journeys with small loads, for some to insist they travel
in the back of the van as well.....drivers tend to ask, as there
are many illegal immigrants out there! " Are

What type & Size of
van can you get ? |
A6: We offer 2 types of vans:
1.Omega Blue extra long wheel base high top Vans.
In other words if you were 6 feet
tall you could stand up in the back of this van without hitting your head.
If you were 10 feet long, you would get a good nights sleep
& if you were 4 and a half feet wide..............................You
would need to see a doctor ! 2.
Luton Box Vans with Tail Lifts are for larger + heavy items
such as pianos and large furniture units or large displays.
A Luton vehicle with a tail lift is ideal for moving home when you have
lots of furniture. With a lenght of at least 4 meters and
a height of more than 2 metres & a width about 1 metre + a half,
this will give you alot of space. Otherwise
the extra long high top van is ideal for smaller moves
with not so much big furniture but mainly small furniture
& lots of boxes & bags which of course would include items like a double
bed, sofa, chest of drawers, as there is plenty of space as well, in these extra
long high top vans. In areas
such as Wales we offer longer
high top vans that are 4 meters in lenght. |
| Q7: What is the
average total time it takes people to load
and off load when using the "You Load We Drive"? |
Answer 7: Count
your items & imagine how long it will take you to load 1 item if it is near
the front door. For examle 10 boxes maybe 5 minutes! 30
minutes is the average time for 2 people with small furniture items filling
up the floor space. Quite simply if there is more of you it will be quicker! Many
students have asked our drivers once they are loaded if 6 minutes to load is a
record? Regrettable the answer is ...........Still checking...but
very close! |
| Q8: Do
the prices for you load we drive include a stop on the way to collect keys or
money? |
| A8: No,
all stops are calculated at £10.00 per stop with an additional 5 minutes added
to your loading and unloading allowance. |

Q9: How much notice do you need to give
to book any of our services? |
A9:
As much as possible, just when you know. Last
minute bookings are welcomed by our national fleet.

removal service to help you move that stuff? |
A10:
Yes! We Load We Drive Service. Click on Removal services
and then QUOTE & fill out the online form. Remember

Can you travel back
with the driver or can you travel with the driver to the collection point
? |
Answer 11: YES
& No, passengers are not permitted to travel with the driver unless
accompanied by goods or as part of a collection and delivery contract which is
subject to milage charges and addittional stop charges as found on this website.
In other words YES but you will need to calculate
the total journey distance from you to the collection point & then to your
final delivery address. Remember it is always cheaper for
us to meet you there. |

Q12: How do I reconfirm my advance
booking ? |
A 12: Simply
by calling Johnny 5 by 1 pm the day before departure & he will connect you
to his reconfirmation by 1pm the day before departure system. Remember
Johnny 5 is Alive ! |
Q13:
Once
I have booked my van ! How do I know If & when it will arrive
on the day? Will it be on time? Will it arrive at all! will you make contact? |
A13: You will be sent a email booking confirmation
which you must read. If you do not get one, this would mean we have not received
your booking. So check to make sure if you have not had a reply within
a few hours. Please allow plenty of time when booking online. If you have
received a booking confirmation all is well. All you do then is call Johnny 5's
automated reconfirmation system on the day before depature by 1pm to avoid possible
cancellation & additional charges. Remember if you are calling on the
day to check up on that vans arrival time, then always do it about 45 minutes
before it is due to arrival & Johnny 5 will let you know if there are any
delays or you can speak to an operator for a even more acurate arrival time at
anytime! |
